Busy Busy Busy

We have been on the go since we got here. Yesterday we were at the rodeo ALL day.I think we rode every ride there. Caroline played 3 different dart games and won 3 stuffed animals. She had so much fun. It was a beautiful day nice and sunny.

Today we went to a Museum. We then went to the Girl Scout House. Amy needed to get some new badges. They also have a really nice museum so checked that out too.

Then knowing Grandma Becky we had to hit the mall. We bought Caroline some summer things. Didn't forget the little boys, got them some things too.

It's been fun ,but think we are starting for home in the morning. I will update when we get home. Maybe then I will have more time to add some pictures from our week in Texas.

Ice Skating

Today Caroline went ice skating. It brought back lots of memories of watching the girls skate many years ago. It was really cold!! You would think I would be use to it living in Iowa. She did a really good job. After her lesson she skated with mommy. We are going to the Rodeo tomorrow. Sorry no pictures I am new to this and forgot my camera.

Too many catfish

Today we went fishing. Caught way to many catfish. We didn't keep any of them. Caroline was upset because we are having a fish fry for supper, so what were we going to eat. Uncle Gary is coming to join us.

For those of you wondering Caroline was sick on Grandparents day so we spent a quite day at her house. Mommy and Daddy went to work and we babysat or in Caroline's words Caroline sat.

We made it thru the fog

We made it to Miss Caroline's house tonight. We drove as far as Kansas City last night in lots of rain. Amy gave us a wake up call at 6:15 this morning. Marc was up , but not me!! Caroline is sick so not sure what tomorrow will bring.

Headed to Texas

Caroline has requested a visit from the "topless car" and Grandma Becky and Papa Marc, so they will be headed to Texas for Spring Break. Caroline has a fun filled week of adventures planned for them.

Day 6- DC

hi! We made it to Linda's today. We went to Monticello this morning. We got there by 8:15 and decided that was good timing. We were on the first tour and front row parking. It was very interesting, we really enjoyed it. As we were leaving the place was packed. We went on to the air and space museum in Washington DC. We skipped out the space shuttle stuff since we had been with Caroline at NASA.
We left at 3:15 to go to Linda's. What a mistake. We thought we would be ahead of the traffic. We sat in stop and go traffic for over an hour going only 10 miles in that time. We couldn't believe the traffic. Who would want to drive in that every day?
We finally got to Linda's at 5:15. We went out for supper and then toured her house. We are tired so going to bed soon. Talk to you later.

Day 5 Arkansas to Monticello Virginia

We are off to Monticello today. It is 8 hours away so thinking we will drive today, tour tomorrow morning , then on to Linda's. Going for breakfast and then road trip. Love MOM or Becky

Detour: Instead of Monticello we detoured to Pigeon Forge,Tennesee home of Dollywood. Tomorow we will move on to Virginia.
